Forest Shuffle: Exploration

The third expansion for the game Mixed Forest.

Discover Mixed Forest in a whole new way: explore the forest on your own, venture into uncharted caves, and meet species from all over the world.

Mixed Forest: Exploration brings three separate modules that you can use together or according to your own preferences. The biggest highlight is the official solo variant, where you face off against the automated opponent, Anne. Using her own deck, she influences the card selection in the clearing while challenging you with twelve different goals across several difficulty levels. This gives you every reason to return to the game again and again, gradually completing increasingly demanding objectives.

Another module features special asymmetric caves that replace the basic caves from the game. Each offers a different ability or scoring method – some reward card collection, others support specific animal species or add new options during gameplay.

The third part of the expansion consists of fifteen new and rare cards, expanding the range of species from Europe and other parts of the world. Among them, you will find, for example, the palm as a new tree species, the red panda, the cardinal, or the wapiti. You can shuffle these cards into the Mixed Forest game along with other expansions to create even more diverse combinations and new strategic possibilities.
