Topps and Panini NBA hobby boxes
From the 2025/26 season, Topps produces officially licensed NBA cards. Current editions include Topps Chrome, Finest, NBA Hoops, Motif, Inception, and Signature Class – ranging from affordable boxes full of rookie players to premium editions focused on star autographs. Older Panini boxes from the Prizm, Select, or Donruss series remain highly sought after by collectors, and Panini also offers boxes from the EuroLeague and college basketball.
What you can find in a basketball card box
In addition to base player cards, boxes also contain inserts, coloured parallels, and refractors. The biggest wins are rookie cards of promising players, autograph cards, patch cards with a piece of jersey, and low-numbered cards, all the way up to unique "One of One" cards. The specific composition varies by edition and is listed in the description of each product.
Frequently asked questions about NBA boxes
What is the difference between a hobby box and a blaster box?
A hobby box is a premium pack for collectors and usually guarantees an autograph or memorabilia card. A blaster box is more affordable and offers its own exclusive parallels, but typically does not include guaranteed hits.
Is it worth buying a whole box instead of individual packs?
A box is more cost-effective per card, and with hobby boxes, you have the certainty of guaranteed hits. Individual NBA booster packs are suitable if you want to try out a new edition first.
You can find the full range of basketball cards in the category NBA cards and basketball cards.
